Taylor Swift - Elizabeth Taylor (Christian Wheel Remix)

This is Tay Tay's tribute to the original Tay, the legendary actress who dominated the silver screen for decades. They actually had quite a bit in common: they both reached the absolute top of the fame pyramid, they both had multiple high-profile relationships with other celebrity men, and they both had unceasing media attention. Swift has said that Taylor is one of her role-models. The music video for this song doesn't even feature T. Swift at all, it's all clips of Elizabeth Taylor edited together to match the story of the song. It's well done and actually quite captivating. In terms of the music, the original song is 82 BPM and while it's definitely not boring, it needs some help to hold a dance floor for anyone other than hardcore Swifties. This remix is 135 bpm and is a cross between nu-disco and harder-edge EDM. The choruses in the original are such a harsh departure from the softer tone of the rest of the song I wanted to maintain some of that delta so the choruses are driving and glitchy.
