This song burst onto the scene in 2011 and even then, it made a huge impact. It's got massive singalong power, and even though it's not really a dance record, it got some club play just so drunk patrons could bellow along with its catchy chorus.
That said, I never really found a version that I was happy with. Not only does the album version's tempo drift all over the place, but the energy dynamics are fairly extreme, running the gamut from low energy to high and back all around again.
I decided to funk it up a bit and am pretty happy with how it came out.
