David Bowie Tribute Mix

David Bowie was a ROCK ICON for over 40 years. He brought glam, rock, soul, pop, electronica and much more to his music. His breakthrough album was 1972's "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spider from Mars," which led to Ziggy Stardust becoming his alter ego for a while. Over the years, he mixed in other styles and personas too. He intertwined art, rock and fashion decades before Lady Gaga.

In 1996, Bowie was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, and got the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. He also was an avid actor, appearing in such movies as "The Hunger," "Labyrinth," "The Man Who Fell To Earth," "The Last Temptation of Christ," "The Prestige," "Zoolander," and many others.

This mix, while far from being a complete collection of his hits, is a sampling of the many works that Bowie masterfully released over the decades. It is dedicated to his memory.
