What a year!
2004 was a milestone year. Martha Stewart went to prison, and 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls and Friends kept us glued to our TV's. Everybody lost weight doing Atkins, and got sick from the flu thanks to the vaccine shortage. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy kept us hip, while our minds were shattered watching Joel and Clementine try (and fail) to work things out in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
This mix captures the essence of music in 2004. Much of the year's hits were hip-hop, which is certainly represented in this mix, but balanced and offset by pop, rock and dance.
